Social Tech Inc. ("we", "us", or "our") operates the ZenAI mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use ZenAI.
Our commitment: ZenAI is built with privacy at its core. Your meditation practice and emotional data are deeply personal, and we treat them with the highest level of care.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
- Email address (for account creation and login)
- Display name (optional, chosen by you)
- Age range and gender (for personalization, optional)
Wellness Data
- Mood scores and emotion labels you select during check-ins
- Mood influences you identify (e.g., work, health, sleep)
- Journal entries you write in the mood journal
- Meditation goals and experience level
- Session history (duration, technique, completion)
Usage Data
- App usage analytics (screens visited, features used, session frequency)
- Device type, operating system version, and app version
- Crash reports and performance data
AI Chat Data
- Conversations with the AI Wellness Coach feature
- Private Mode conversations are processed but not stored on our servers after the session ends
2. How We Use Your Information
- Personalization: To match you with the right meditation technique, voice, background sound, and affirmations based on your mood and goals
- Mood Tracking: To show you your emotional patterns and progress over time
- AI Features: To provide relevant AI Wellness Coach responses and personalized recommendations
- Service Improvement: To understand how features are used and improve the app experience
- Communications: To send account-related emails (password reset, subscription updates). We do not send marketing emails without your consent.
3. Data Storage and Security
- Your data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest
- Wellness data (mood, journal entries) is stored securely and accessible only to you
- We do not sell your personal data to third parties
- Downloaded sessions are stored locally on your device
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate ZenAI:
- OpenAI: For generating personalized meditation text and AI Wellness Coach responses. Your prompts are sent to OpenAI's API. OpenAI does not use API data for training.
- ElevenLabs: For text-to-speech synthesis of meditation audio. Text content is sent for voice generation.
- Analytics provider: For anonymous usage analytics to improve the app
- Payment processor: For subscription management (Google Play Billing). We do not store your payment details.
5. Your Rights
- Correction: You can update your profile information in the app
- Deletion: To delete your account and all associated data, contact us at zenai@socialtechcompany.com
6. Children's Privacy
ZenAI is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected data from a child, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
7. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or via email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
