We built the DietAI app as a Freemium app as Social Tech Inc. company.
This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service.
If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

We would like to explicitly state that we collect primary account information from our users. To create customized diet plans, we collect the following primary account information:

This data is used exclusively for tailoring diet plans to meet individual needs and goals. It is important to be transparent with our users and we wanted to explain how we will use this information in this privacy policy. That's why we wanted to do this by adding these sections to our privacy policy that specifically addresses the collection and use of primary account information.
We use Google Oauth through Firebase Authentication service to provide our users a way to create an account for the DietAI app. This is an optional service for users who want to safely store and sync their DietAI usage data with our dedicated secure servers. This way users can sign in from any device at any time and continue to use our service with their data.
In the following section, we explain the collection of Primary Account and the usage of collected Primary Account. For a better experience, while using our Service, we
may require you to provide us with certain personally
identifiable information. The information that
we request will be retained by us and used as described in this privacy policy. We use OAuth as our primary account creation. All of the user data collected by our app is encrypted in transit. To use the camera-based food logging feature in the DietAI app, we require access to your device's camera. This allows you to photograph your meals for nutritional analysis. Images are used for identifying and logging food items. Camera access can be managed and revoked at any time through your device settings. By using this feature, you consent to our processing of these images as described.
For explaining the some terms above more in depth, we wanted to write the following further explanations. Collected means that this data is transmitted off the user's device, either to you (the developer) or a third party. This includes data that is processed ephemerally, or stored for longer. Shared means that this data is transferred to a third party, either on or off the user's device. Processing data "ephemerally" means accessing and using data while it is only stored in memory, and is retained for no longer than necessary to service the specific request in real-time. App functionality means that used for features in your app. For example, to enable functionality, or authenticate users. Analytics means that used to collect data about how users use your app, or how your app performs. For example, to see how many users are using a particular feature, to monitor app health, to diagnose and fix bugs or crashes, or to make future performance improvements. Personalization means that used to customize your app, such as showing recommended content or suggestions. For example, suggesting playlists based on users' listening habits, or delivering local news based on a user's location. Account management means that used for the setup or management of user accounts. For example, to enable users to create accounts; to add information to accounts you provide, for use across your services; to log in to your app; or to verify their credentials.
The app does use third party services that may collect information used to identify you.

DietAI integrates with Google Health Connect to facilitate seamless data exchange with health, nutrition, and fitness applications, including Google Fit and Samsung Health. With your explicit consent, DietAI is enabled to both read and write the following health and nutrition-related data:
This integration is implemented in line with our strict security protocols and data protection practices. Users can go to Health Connect app and control their data there anytime. All data exchanged via Google Health Connect is subject to the privacy standards outlined in this policy.
The collection of User Data by DietAI serves to provide our Service, fulfill legal responsibilities, respond to legal inquiries, safeguard our rights and interests (including those of our users or third parties), identify any harmful or fraudulent actions, and for purposes including, but not limited to: Analytics, User Registration and Verification, Management of Activity Data, Platform Services and Hosting.

We make no guarantees about the quality, safety, or appropriateness of any services or dietary advice obtained from third-party sources. The responsibility for using these services lies entirely with you. You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, demands, losses, liabilities, and expenses, including attorney’s fees, arising from your use of the services, violations of these terms, our use of your user content, or any infringement of the rights of others. We do not provide medical advice. Our services are intended for tracking, organizing, and managing dietary and fitness activities, not for offering medical consultation. Using our services does not establish a medical relationship between us. It is recommended that you consult a qualified healthcare professional for any dietary or health-related advice. You acknowledge that making dietary changes and engaging in physical activities may involve certain risks, and you choose to participate in them at your own risk.
As Social Tech Inc. company, we have a data retention and deletion policy as following. We offer two methods for deleting your account from our app: First one is in-app deletion. On our DietAI app, you can go to Account --> Settings --> Delete Account to delete your account. The second one is email request. You can delete your account by emailing us at dietaiteam@gmail.com or by clicking this link here. You can also get more information and request that your account and associated data is deleted here
